On the first paddle of the Central Coast Survive Oars, the weather was beautiful, sea lions and otters shared their waters as a rainbow shined upon the survive oars. Seven women gathered to float on the waters of Morro Bay, California, to paddle and support each other past the disease that shook their very foundation. Each week the team will meet to strengthen mind and body. It is a treatment plan we can all sign on to.
Breast Cancer Survive Oars was started when a patient of Leslyn Keith of Central Coast Lymphedema brought the idea to her.
